1. Information We Collect

NORSINCOM collects only the information necessary to provide our intelligence services. This includes contact form submissions (name, organization, email, role, use case) and session authentication data (encrypted cookies with no personal identifiers).

2. How We Use Information

Contact form data is used solely to evaluate and respond to access requests. We do not sell, rent, or share personal information with third parties. Session cookies are used only to maintain authenticated access to protected dashboard areas.

3. Data Sources

All intelligence data displayed on NORSINCOM is sourced from publicly available government and institutional APIs including Health Canada, OpenFDA, Toronto Police Service Open Data, and NewsAPI. No personal data is collected from these sources.

4. Data Retention

Contact form submissions are retained for 12 months. Session cookies expire after 8 hours of inactivity. Intelligence data is retained for operational analysis purposes.

5. Security

All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Session tokens are signed using industry-standard JWT with HS256. Passwords are never stored in plaintext.
